An existing office building from the early 1960’s had fallen into disrepair and was largely unoccupied due to its dilapidated state. By updating the building’s appearance, the client was looking to modernize the building esthetic.

By enlarging the existing floor plate on three sides and changing the existing structure to comply with current regulations, the building was transformed from a run-down office space to high-end residences with ground-level retail spaces.

Updating the building's use involved significant design issues including structural retrofitting, adding additional structural members, reorganizing the site circulation, and adding more parking.

The project's status as adaptive reuse and because the existing building pre-dates general zoning plans for the area, the building will continue to be the tallest in the neighborhood and also benefits from unobstructed views across West Hollywood.

When completed, these condominiums will be among the finest ultra-luxury condominiums offered in the city of West Hollywood.

Expected completion of this project is Summer 2020.
