Los Angeles’ transformation into a dense urban-landscape is shaping its vertical presence. High-rise housing is fast becoming the norm in a city known for its urban sprawl. 1755 Argyle examines what it means to build vertically and embrace the building culture that is unique to Los Angeles. The perceived profile of the alternating floor plates changes from different vantage points creating a dynamic facade. This project expands on the long standing Los Angeles tradition of the inside-outside space with alternating floor plates. Combined, these two elements afford unique environments for each tenant. The 5th floor terrace offers tenants various amenities including an outdoor pool, spa, barbecue area, outdoor dining area and a lounge area with catering kitchen. Tenants will enjoy relatively unobstructed views in all directions and adjacency to a metro stop and some of Los Angeles’ best night life. 1755 Argyle is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in 2018.
