Balboa Tower is located just south of Balboa Park and was slated to become the premier residential tower in San Diego. The site is located at the top of a hill and offers unubstructed views from north to south.
This site posed challenges due to its narrow footprint and minimal options for expansion. With parking restrictions and limited public transportation, on-site parking was of primary concern.
The units in the tower have balconies with multi-slide pocket doors embracing the California indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
In lieu of a curtain wall, a window wall system was used to stay within the desired price point.
Every corner unit has a series of sliding pocket doors offering unobstructed views of San Diego.
The commercial component of this project encourages an active street presence offering residents access to first class dining and entertaining.
